Who Are Venus and Serena Williams? by James Buckley Jr. is a non-fiction book. This book goes over real events in Venus and Serena William’s lives. They are both tennis stars, and this book reflects on the story of how they got there. They had to work very hard along with their father. They also had to get over tough situations they had to witness when they were younger. However, they rose and worked hard to gain the reputation they have.

Malala and her family. Malala was born in Swat Valley, Pakistan. As the Taliban begins to

invade Pakistan, they take rights from women and girls. When the Taliban tried to take away

girls’ rights to education, Malala and her father began to speak out. She became an important

I have never been a big fan of war movies, so I expected to spend an unpleasant two-and-a-half hour watching a boring movie centered around politics. Surprisingly, this was not the case with Lincoln. The movie takes place mainly in the year 1865, during President Abraham Lincoln's second term. Along with managing all the stresses in his life and in society during this time period, he was also figuring out how to successfully pass the 13th amendment.

First, the readers are introduced to the author by another source, Abraham Verghese, who admits to only knowing Paul Kalanithi after his death. This meant that readers knew the end of the book before it even began. Verghese explains the importance of the book and sets high expectations for the readers as they flip the pages and move on to the prologue. As Kalanithi introduces himself, his audience is drawn to learn more about his life. The book's first part shows his passion for writing and calling toward a medical degree.
