Jewell used multiple different perspectives of those that are close to Tallulah and dropped hints throughout the entirety of the book that introduced new ties leading to her disappearance. Each character, not only, had their own unique story and relationship with Tallulah, but also played a key role in her finding. Jewell also had the story split into different years.
