The book, The Hardy Boys: The Great Coaster Caper written by Franklin Dixon, is about two detective brothers, 8-year-old Joe Hardy and 9-year-old Frank Hardy. Together they crack cases around their hometown of Bayport. The story takes place at an amusement park called Thrill Kingdom. There is a competition to see who can make the best model of roller coaster to hopefully be added to the amusement park! Frank and Joe’s friend, Phil, worked hard to make his 3D model. Unfortunately, someone broke his model by accident!

As Percy prepares for next year, he is less than thrilled to discover that he must obtain recommendation letters from Mount Olympus through completing quests for the gods. Percy takes on a quest for the god Ganymede, who has lost his chalice that he uses to serve the gods.

It tells the story of a 70s rock band through present day interviews from the band members. It starts out by introducing Daisy Jones, who lives in California, who comes from a wealthy family, and is a talented singer.

The story follows a teenager named “Isabelle” or “Belly,” a family friend of the Fishers, two brothers of around the same age that she has feelings for. She has always had feelings for the older brother, Conrad Fisher, however throughout the story begins to see how the other brother, Jeremiah Fisher, is also a man she could see herself with.

Zach Gonzalez, an 18-year-old boy, is admitted to rehab for alcoholism. Zach remembers little of his past and feels very averse to the treatment he is supposed to receive. The novel explores deep topics pertaining to mental illness such as depression and anxiety which is expressed through Zach’s time in rehabilitation. Through his time, Zach is able to converse with other adults in rehab which include mostly older adults unlike himself as a young adult. Zach takes a liking to one man, Rafael, who becomes a figure of hope and stability in Zach’s life.

Throughout this story, Tella banters with Jack and Dante as Tella reluctantly allows them to help her play the game and solve clues.
