Normal People follows the story of Connell and Marianne, who in high school were total opposites to the outside world, but secretly the same people. As they grow up, they simply can’t stay away from each other. Now for me, this is one of my favorite romance ‘tropes’. The ‘We hate that we love each other but can’t stay away from each other enough’. If you also like that, I 100% recommend this book.

Becca is a new girl in high school which is never easy. Luckily, the popular girls take her in and while they expect some things of her that she isn’t quite comfortable with, she goes along with it. Until it turns out there’s a reason the girls run this high school, and it’s not pleasant. Squad is a story that talks about the struggles of being out of place. It shows how conforming isn’t always the best idea and can lead to issues. It addresses themes such as patriarchal issues, LGBTQ+ representation, being different, and not being complacent. I rate Squad 4 out of 5 stars.

Face-to-face to an officer named Rawls, the young boy named Shayne brazenly confesses to a
