Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo is a direct sequel to Six of Crows, as we are left off by cold, calculating criminal mastermind Kaz Brecker and his team of thugs and misfits as they try and figure out a way to get Inej, a member of the crew that rescued Kuwei Yul-Bo from Fjerda, and guard the secret of Jurda Parem.
In Harry’s last year at Hogwarts comes even more danger. Filled with a long journey, Harry, Ron, and Hermoine set out to fight Voldemort by destroying the 7 Horcruxes. Whether it is everyone changing to look like Harry or using the sword of Gryffindor this book is filled with events that are fun exciting and sometimes scary! This book is a really awesome book. I love how it is filled with the perfect amount of fun and adventure. This whole book was a page-turner and I couldn’t stop reading it.

Simon Snow and his crew are back from America with another person with them, Shepherd. Simon and Baz must face a new mage who claims to be the chosen one, while Shepherd and Penny try to get rid of Shepherd’s curse. This book is the end to this trilogy and summarizes all the loose ties very well.
Max and the Midknights: Battle of the Bodkins is the second book in the series, this time with evil doppelgangers, even more magic, and tons of humor. This book is definitely one of my favorite books, because this book checks off all the good qualities a good book should have- action, humor, friendships, romance, and mystery! Another reason that I love this book so much is that it also incorporates little illustrations throughout the book, and even changes to a comic sometimes!
Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell by Susanna Clarke is a historical fantasy novel set in an alternate 19th-century England where magic once existed but has long since faded into obscurity. The story follows two magicians: the reclusive and cautious Mr. Norrell, who seeks to revive English magic through scholarly study and practical feats, and the charismatic and daring Jonathan Strange, who becomes Norrell’s pupil and later his rival.
Snow, a 17-year-old girl in Whittaker Psychiatric, falls in love with another patient in the hospital, Bale. They have their first kiss and something tragic happens, causing them to separate. Now, Bale has disappeared from the hospital and Snow is distraught. She too escapes with the help of a mystery man she finds in her dreams being pulled towards the magical kingdom, Algrid.
With the beginning comes danger. Hogwarts is no longer safe for students. And Dumbledore, Hogwarts head, realizes that Voldemort is nearby. Including this was the growth of teen love and madness across Hogwarts. What will happen to Hogwarts? Read Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince to find out!
