Five Total Strangers by Natalie D. Richards is a thrilling fictional tale about 5 different strangers, all of whom are stuck at the airport with their flights canceled, due to a blizzard. Wanting to get home for the holidays, they all decide to rent a car and drop people off along the way to each of their routes. Riding with strangers isn’t too bad if you semi-trust them, that is, until secretly, one person in the car starts sabotaging the ride.

Daisy Darker by Alice Feeney is a mystery thriller that dives deep into the story of the main protagonist, Daisy Darker. Her whole family has not all been together for years until they finally come together for her grandmother’s 81st birthday. Daisy’s grandmother announces her will to everyone, the night goes on, and then shortly after midnight, she is found dead, with a poem written on the wall behind her body. Suddenly everyone is awake, and they each start dying off, one by one.

Due to past circumstances with Liza dating guys who didn’t meet any of her mother’s criteria, Mrs. Yang is desperate for Liza to date a nice, smart, good looking ASIAN guy.

Like the other two, Final Offer is in dual POV and follows the middle Kane brother, Cal, and his love interest, Alana. Alana and Cal were childhood best friends, growing up together in the small town where the book is set.

Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros is a New Adult, romantic fantasy novel set in the Basgiath War College in the fictional country of Navarre. It follows Violet Sorrengail, a fragile twenty-year old girl who was trained her entire life to go to Basgiath and train as a scribe. In Basgiath, there are multiple wings and different academies: one for riders of dragons (who function as the airborne protection of Navarre against its neighbors), one for scribes, one for infantry, and one for healers.

They seek refuge in Saint-Malo, carrying with them a precious jewel from the Museum of Natural History, where her father worked. As they navigate the challenges of the war, Marie-Laure's father constructs a miniature model of the city to help her memorize its layout.

Juliet writes letters to her mother as a way to feel connected to her, and Juliet leaves these letters at her mother’s grave. Though she never received any response, she returns to her mother’s grave one day to find a response to one of the letters. The response was written by Declan, although neither knows who the other is.
