When Paedyn saves a prince she gets thrown into the purging. In the purging everyone battles with their powers, however Paedyn doesn’t have any powers. Your girl Paedyn here is so observant. Like she has no powers but can trick everyone into she has them.

Personally, I’ve never read The Hunger Games and this book truly amazed me. This is the exact energy and passion you want for your main leads. Paedyn knows her priorities and gets them straight. While Kai on the other hand is just falling head over heels in love with her.

Finally free from the grasp of the Reestablishment, but with the weight of the truth of their past, what will Juliette and Warner choose to do with their new freedom?

“It's not insane to imagine that sometimes even horrible people are searching for a way out of their own darkness.”

This book picks up directly after Juliette and most of her friends have been captured by the Reestablishment. Not knowing who to trust after having her world turned upside down, Juliette must find a way to escape while maintaining her sanity, which seems to be harder than she initially thought.
