After solving the murder case together, Ravi Singh helped Pip create a podcast that soon went viral, but they both swear off sleuthing. When someone Pip knows goes missing, and the police don’t do anything about it, Pip takes matters into her own hands.

The beginning was a bit slow, since the second book was more of a disappearance than a murder. I thought the second book was even more interesting than the first book. Especially near the end, I was so shocked about A LOT of things. Some people who I thought were literally so pure and innocent.

This book was written using three different perspectives. The first one was from a girl named Libby, who had just turned 25. This was very significant for her because this was the age that she would receive an unknown trust from her parents. The second perspective was a character named Lucy. Lucy, barely getting by, has two kids, a violin, and no permanent home. The final perspective was a boy named Henry Lamb. Contrary to the first two perspectives, Henry narrates the story in the past (1980s). Libby and Lucy are dealing with the present.
